April news- two upcoming shows!
April 7-10th is The Chestnut Group show, Speaking for the Trees & Lockeland Springs park.

Lockeland Springs Park is truly a gem of a place. Did you know that in the early 1900s, the spring water from this park was bottled and sold? It even won an award for its mineral composition and "salubrious qualities" at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. Although many of the trees were damaged, in the tornado last year, it is clear that it is recovering with the help of a dedicated neighborhood and others, like the Nashville Tree Conservation Corp.
"Funds generated from art sales support Shelby Park & Bottoms efforts to remove invasive undergrowth in Shelby Park to allow native trees to regenerate and, in partnership with the Nashville Tree Conservation Corp, help to create an operational endowment to support the newly formed “Friends” organization for Lockeland Springs Park..."
April 23rd is Endada, MBA's student-run Music and Arts Festival from 11am-3pm.
